Trade with Taiwan

In January–November 2023, Taiwan ranked 57th by trade turnover among Lithuania’s 209 trade partners. The main exports to Taiwan were optical, chemical and food products, while the main imports were machinery and mechanical equipment, transport means, and optical products.

According to statistical data by the Statistics Lithuania, in January–November 2023, Taiwan ranked 57 by trade turnover among 209 Lithuania‘s trade partners, 69 – by exports and 40 – by imports.

In January–November 2023, the turnover of goods between the two countries amounted to €101.6 million. Exports to Taiwan amounted to €25.1 million (exports of goods of Lithuanian origin amounted to €19.4 million) and imports – €76.5 million.

In January–November 2023, Lithuania exported goods of Lithuanian origin to Taiwan, mostly optical products (€5 million) – 25.8% of total exports of goods of Lithuanian origin to Taiwan, chemical products (€3.3 million) – 16.8% and food products (€3.2 million) – 16.4%.

In January–November 2023, the main goods imported from Taiwan were machinery and mechanical equipment (€28 million) – 36.7% of total imports from Taiwan, transport means (€11.1 million) – 14.8%, optical products (€10.4 million) – 13.6% of total imports from Taiwan.
